Well, this is our first blog post and it will be a doozy!
As many of you who have ordered from us in the last couple of weeks can attest, we have been experiencing significant delays as a result of Covid-19.
At this time we utilize printing off-site ("site" being our home). Unfortunately, our printing companies have had to dramatically alter the way they function due to Covid19 and this has had a trickle down effect to us.
Some of our items, like prints, aren't too terribly effected by this. The delay may be a week in addition to the originally projected time but nothing too terrible. However, our t-shirts? Well, they have six WEEK delays.
Six weeks is a bit bonkers. Even for a really, really awesome shirt.
At this time, we are suspending orders so that we can get a better handle and evaluate if there are other options with the same quality yet a better response time. We are not wanting to sacrifice quality or service in the name of a sale. As such, we will be removing anything from the site that cannot meet both those standards within a reasonable time frame.
So that is the bad news.
The good news is that there ARE items, new items, which we can produce and get to you within a reasonable time frame!
I will be working on getting these up and running as soon as I can, but I do have a little confession for you -- us Catholics do that a lot, you know -- and that confession is this:
Plena Gratia is really just Matt and Chrissy trying to design, make, and produce some awesome stuff inspired by our faith in between a full time job, homeschooling, raising four kids, a couple of medically complex kids, and everything that regular life tosses our way. Unfortunately, sometimes I (Chrissy, *waves*) am not as deft at juggling all of it as I want to be.
So, I ask for your prayers and patience as we try to navigate this time, which is unique in the challenges it presents.
